They are going to a more earthly color like creams, beiges, and browns as well as replacing the plastic ties for a more suitable eco friendly tie by attaching their labels with ribbon or rope ties.
Most of us never even think twice about plastic ties and what they do to the environment. Did you know that 80% of trash in the ocean is plastic? There is more trash in the ocean then animals. Plastic is the major part of waste in our landfills. They are non biodegradable so they can break into smaller parts but NEVER fully disappear. Although we are just talking about little plastic ties that attach tags to a garment, a little help with the environment goes a long way. Ribbons and rope ties are a much better solution. They are biodegradeable so they can fully disappear into the environment.
