Food Storage Labels

Labels used in food storage range from paper thermal transfer labels to freezer grade labels that remain adhered in the most severe temperatures.

One element of a food storage label is the date code. This is the finite element that provides a visual reference allowing the stock person a see for rotation.  The date codes can either be printed as a date or color coded and dated to provide an even more definite identifier.

Making a mark on the product in storage allows the stock person to quickly identify which product should be displayed first or put in front when fixing shelves. It provides the manager of the store a quick way to check that the rotation has been performed also.

Food rotation is critical to making profits in a grocery store. Limiting waist provides profits that go right to the bottom line.  So making an identifying label that indicates whether the product has been rotated, means money to the bottom line. Make sure date coding and proper labeling is used to insure these savings. Then execution of the process will lock the savings in for good.
