This little devise was designed with the features retailers asked for. It is a open architecture with Windows Mobile installed. The HHP imager uses the Imaging Technology 5.0 Adaptus software which is in our opinion the top in the market.
This unit is not a great match for industrial warehouse applications where a greater distance is needed to scan high racks. The imager scans about 4-5 feet.
Customers do like the slanted screen and that does prevent the user from having to more the wrist up and down to read the screen.
