Coated textile fabrics are for use in clothing care and industrial labeling applications. Our materials represent state of the art printable textile fabrics and have been proven to far surpass conventional printing materials in durability, versatility, and image print quality.
Materials are available in many woven matrix printing techniques, as well as traditional flexographic and offset printing. Available fabrics provide a selection of extremely durable and pliable media that can resist moisture, abrasions, heat, fading, cracking, dry cleaning solvents, and other environmental factors. Available materials include:
Woven Nylons - printable on one side or both, coated with Polyamide great for garment care and textile labels, name tags for uniforms, sports clothing labels, plush toy and doll tags, seat belt labels, air bags, Kevlar vest, high heat applications like metal and wire tags, and shoe size labels.
Woven Polyesters – printable on one side only, coated with Urethane and great for seat belt labels, tags and labels used on airplanes, and applications where the material must be self-extinguishing- meets FMVSS 302 Standards.
Non-Woven Polyesters – printable on both sides, coated with Polyamide and great for law labels such as mattress and furniture tags.
Polyester Taffeta – printable on both sides, coated with Urethane and great for garment care and textile labels.
Satins – printable on one or both sides, polyester satin is great for lingerie, garment care and textile labels.
Polyester in colors – printable on one side, coated and great for law labels such as mattress and furniture tags. Available in 9 colors including red, black, beige, yellow, green, pink, blue, gray, and white.
We do recommend testing to make sure that the ribbon and material are a match with your specific application requirements. Results may very depending on washing and dry cleaning conditions and chemicals. Our testing is done to IFI standards (50 washes or dry cleanings) for all of our fabric labels, clothing labels and garment labels.
