Wasp barcode labels
come in direct thermal and
thermal transfer versions that
are listed below. When
selecting your barcode label
for your Wasp W300 or W600
printer make sure to check
the Wasp barcode label type.
Direct thermal wasp barcode
labels do not use a ribbon.
The W300 and W600 printer
heats the barcode label to
make the image. The image is
sensitive to sunlight and
heat.
Wasp thermal transfer
barcode labels use a ribbon to
make the image on the label.
Be sure to purchase the
ribbon with these Wasp
barcode labels. This label
image is more permanent
than the direct thermal image
because it transfers the ink
from the ribbon to the label.

is direct thermal or thermal
