AXXIS prints label substrates from 4” to 8.5” wide including: gloss, matte, uncoated or Estate papers, Polypropylene BOPP and Polyester. The AXXIS Finisher applies in-line gloss or matte film lamination, precision die-cuts without dies, strips the matrix and rewinds finished labels.
The Epson DURABrite color ink-jet inks have a wider color gamut, are durable with excellent fade and water resistance and are significantly lower cost than other laser toners or inkjet systems for short-run labels. Total consumable cost estimate for a 3” x 4” label any die-less edge cut shape is about 4 cents which includes PS paper substrate, medium ink coverage and in-line film lamination. The complete 2 stage AXXIS Digital Printing & Label Finishing System sold or leased direct from ADSI is $24,950. Not included on this unit are the optional in-line slitter which sells for $1,975 and the Variable Data Print option which sells for $500. As you grow your business you can add AXXIS Print Stations that you can simultaneously run for $7000 each with your initial Wasatch SoftRIP.
